So...it's raining outside...

I was totally ready to hop on Kakashi and take a small ride this morning. (Kakashi for those who haven't been following is my motorcycle.) Anywho, I get cleaned up and when I step out of the bathroom, it's pouring outside. ::le sigh:: maybe later once it dries up. I hate road splash when I'm riding the bike. It makes me feel icky.
Hey, remember when I said I was going to see the FMA movie? I STILL HAVE YET TO SEE THE END OF IT!!! Tis sad, I know. First, the movie started out without sound. And seeing that the theatre was full with a bunch of anime nerds, every notable internet meme was being shouted out and tossed around the theatre. After someone went and talk to the theatre staff, the movie restarted with sound. And for a while it was good. Until the final climactic battle...
The movie freezes. That's right, it froze. Someone was also quick to note that in the frozen scene, there was a bunny formed from the folds of the character's clothing. XD Eventually, someone went to get management again and the crowd declared it was bathroom break time. And more internet memes. lol But 15 minutes later, the manager comes in to explain what's going on. Apparently, the way they show anime is through a satellite feed that is controlled from the theatre's home office. And they had been on tech support trying to reboot the computer that displays the movie. And there are only so many places they can actually start and stop the movie. So the manager gave us free passes and the movie restarted somewhere closer to the beginning. Well, couldn't sit through that again. I need to find the movie to watch the ending. lol.
But last night, went to see Transformers on IMAX, with Randy, Kelly, Chris, AimeeJ, and Dani. And granted, I have been wanting to see this movie for a while but have been putting it off to do other things. This movie was awesome. I'm still giddy. XD DVD comes out next month. It's sooooo mine. It restored my faith that movie makers can actually turn my childhood loves into good movies. Unlike so many other things from the late 70's early 80's that have been redone soooo badly. I just dated myself, didn't I? Oh well. Makes me wonder if any of my transformers are in the attic at my mom's house piled in my junk. And for those who are bound to ask, my favorite transformer was Blurr.

Edit: Thought I might as well add this too...

Date: 2007-09-22 04:59 pm (UTC)I'm dying to see it again!
Sometimes I think I liked Blurr, cause: 1 - I can talk just like that. I used to do it every time my teachers made me read something aloud so that way I'd never get picked on to read, it really pissed them off I think. And 2 - I like sports cars, and at that time, my room was littered with posters of cars. Porche, Lamborghini, etc. Yup I didn't have hunky guys, I had hot car posters. And of course Blurr = futuristic sports car that went fast. HOT!!!
