Caroling:

is set for Saturday evening.  Sorry for those who can't make it, but with the response that I'm getting for announcing this and other ppls  plans/schedules getting in the way, I'm going to make an effort next year to try to put together a caroling thing maybe for a couple times next holiday season.  That and the polyanna and whatever else comes along... *sweat drop*

Anywho, after talking to ppls, it's going to be on saturday evening.  Me and [personal profile] yesod still need to work out what's going on saturday before we can give you a time.  Maybe we'll talk it out this evening and see.  But for now, I'm thinking that we'll be singing from 7-9pm (absolute nothing later than 9).  Then we'll have hot chocolate and cookies and stare at our mesmerizing tree with it's twinkling lights.  XD

BTW - this is just a heads up, but this isn't a stay up all night and play video games or anything kinda night.  But just an evening get-together to spread some xmas joy!

If you have suggestions for carols, please lemme know so I can print a few lyric sheets out so we can all sing along.  :)  Here's some I gathered:

Up on the Housetop
The Christmas Song
Away in a Manger
We Three Kings of Orient Are
We Wish You a Merry Christmas
Oh Holy Night
Silent Night
Jingle Bells
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Angels We Have Heard on High
Deck the Halls
Oh Christmas Tree/Tannenbaum
Oh Little Town of Bethlehem
Oh Come All Ye Faithful
Hark the Herald Angels Sing
Joy to the World
Little Drummer Boy
Jolly Old Saint Nicholas
White Christmas
It Came Upon a Midnight Clear
I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus

If there is anything on this list that you don't know and would like the lyrics, or if there is anything you'd like to add, lemme know.  :)

One other thing, previous times I've done this, occasionally we'll get a monetary donation.  If that happens...which I highly doubt because of today's society, what charity would you like it to go to?  I'm usually up for the American Red Cross or Save the Children.
